She was attentive to our every need and concern and she demonstrated genuine thoughtfulness at each step. Closing on a property can be extremely stressful, but she ensured that we didn’t feel overwhelmed by any aspect of the process. If there were any hiccups, or if we had any confusion or questions, she worked in a timely manner to clear things up and explain information to us.

Charleen also put us in contact with Trevor from SD Loans and coordinated with him as much as we did. Their admirable teamwork enabled us to move quickly on our ideal listing, and a few short weeks later we became the owners.

They even tell you the stuff you don’t want to hear, but they always had a solution.  They held our hand through the entire process. Though the price of the land was low compared to home prices these days, she worked just as hard for me as you would expect from someone working on a high priced home. BEST experience!! We worked with Dan and he was incredibly helpful in our search for a new home. He was constantly available via text or phone call and totally walked us through how everything would work during the closing process. This is was our first home we had ever purchased, so we were really not sure how everything worked, but we were 100% comfortable with Dan and his incredible knowledge of the real estate industry. He even went above and beyond with his knowledge of general contracting to help put together realistic estimates of how much the house would really cost when taking into account updates/fixes for the home. I would highly recommend Dan, I would absolutely work with him and the Rose Group again!

We recently purchased a weekend house in Santa Cruz. Thanks to Kathie, we found the perfect place for our family! We were getting discouraged putting in offers and losing out to cash overs over asking price. Just when we were getting close to giving up, Kathie made things happen. She had mailed out letters and called all of the properties in the area that met our needs to gauge any interest in selling. We ended up closing on a property before it hit the market! After that, closing was not smooth sailing. We had several bumps in the road, but once again Kathie was vigilant in her communication with all parties involved to smooth out all issues so that we were able to close on time. Another major plus of working with Kathie is the fact that she has lived and worked in the Santa Cruz community for over 20 years. She has built so many great relationships with people in the trades. We wanted to complete a full remodel on a very short timeframe before moving in. Kathie connected us with a contractor that she has used many times in the past. She also connected us to flooring company and a window treatment company. All the referrals exceeded our expectations in service and were reasonably priced. We highly recommend Kathie and could not be more thankful for what she did for our family.

 Verified Dan and Shannon are incredible to work with! We had worked with Dan on a previous home purchase and new exactly who we wanted to work with again when it came to selling our home in San Jose. Both Dan and Shannon were extremely prompt in responses to our questions, were available at almost all times via text message, and did a great job in helping us prep our house for sale. Everything was extremely clear as we worked with them through this process and it made us feel a lot more calm during a very stressful time!

 Verified Shannon and Dan helped us purchase a home a few years ago, and we went back to them when we needed to sell it recently. During both processes, they were very knowledgable about changes to homes and estimates on how difficult something might be to change. As our sellers agents, they recommended small changes that would make the house look even better to potential buyers. We trust them full with this process and were thrilled with the outcome and speed of the sale as well.  Verified Daniel and Shannon were my realtors here.  I must say I am honored to have worked with such an awesome team.  

I am rather extroverted and my wife is moreso introverted.  Daniel helped her come out of her shell and voice her opinions beyond what I hoped for.  

After a couple weekends of looking, Daniel found exactly what we were looking for.  Our requirements were a little far fetched to find.  I will list those here:
Two car garage, three car driveway, second driveway with space for a 40' RV located on the right hand side of the house, a 25 foot boat parking space, large backyard, Single Story feel, Kitchen sink facing the backyard, ready to go, in the specific area code, good schools, and on a quiet street.

If I was the realtor, I would have tried to change my clients mind to settle for less but Daniel found it within two weeks.  I asked Daniel how he would rate this house to my needs and he gave it a 9/10.  When he asked us, we said "the same, lets put in an offer".  

From there it was pretty smooth sailing.  28 day close, I met the contractor that remodeled the house and the listing agent, both transparent and happy to assist beyond the sale.

If you are picky like myself, The Rose Group is the way to go!  What we thought was going to be damn near impossible, it was possible and very simple.

 Verified I meet Mary Hawley, while she was working an Open House and I was out looking for potential new home.  I wasn't in a hurry to move, and if I moved, it was because I found the perfect home and it met everything on my 'wish list'. 

I gave Mary my wish list when we met for coffee.  I liked how she asked me lots of questions to get to know me better.  Afterall, the more she understood what I was looking for and what I could afford, the more productive we would be looking for potential homes.
Mary is also a designer, so she was able to provide ideas of what can be done to make a potential home my dream home. When we did find the home that met everything on my checklist, Mary also provided design and remodeling ideas, that were within my budget.  The good news was, we found the perfect home.  It just needed some changes to update the look, like hardwood floors, canned lights and a fresh coat of paint.   The bad news was, it was during the most business time of year for my 'day job'.   Mary could see that I was a bit overwhelmed and had no time to coordinate the remodeling efforts due to my job requirements, let alone find time to pack and move. Mary stepped in and went beyond expectations.   She would call/coordinate the vendor/contractors for me.   Thanks to Mary's expertise and project management skills, the enhancements were made to the home and I was able to move in right on schedule. 

If you are looking for a realtor who not only knows the area, and also as an eye for design, I highly recommend Mary Hawley.  Mary listens to what you want.  She will not waste your time.  And your relationship with Mary will go beyond the signing of the contracts.  She will make sure you are moved in and loving your new home.

Updated review: If you caught my past review of The Rose Group at Keller Williams, you'd see that my business with Shannon and team ended without a transaction taking place in 2015. Yet, I wholeheartedly recommended their business strategy building lifelong clients with their team.

18 months after I first met Shannon and team, my family again found the need for a  Realtor. This time, specifically with impending 2016 election and unknown outcomes on the Mountain View market we needed a team to go to market in 2 weeks(!), including coordinate remodeling updates, get furniture out and staging in, photography and Open Houses! Shannon and everyone on her team showed up for every aspect to get this done. This is exactly why I started working with the Rose Group. The depth of support and years of experience to advise the best strategy for your life: NOT the business.  But by supporting clients' life decisions, their business shines. 

With that transaction completed, my next step was getting me into my forever home and alleviate the torture we call San Jose commuter traffic. I began working with Dan Sullivan, Realtor Extraordinaire. Open houses, endless listings, week after week of new properties. The frenetic Silicon Valley market and my limited budget required a vision and strategy to get offers considered and not an eternal exercise in futility. In Dan I found endless energy and suggestions, and felt like a colleague working on a project or friends sharing ideas with easy back and forth texting.

In December 2016, Dan performed a miracle, again with his Rose Group team behind him including Dave Belluomini from Wells Fargo Home Mortgages, and Dan's relationship working with the seller's agent. Thankfully the sellers accepted my offer (among multiple offers!) and they graciously stuck with me through difficult financing conditions related to inspections. Also amazingly, Dan hung on step by step in the trenches through 79 days for escrow to close in what I imagine to be one of the most difficult transactions ever. Never did I feel like these problems were mine alone to fix, and as a busy professional, that support is golden! Not only were Dan and Shannon there through escrow, but even after closing, they have contractors, handyman, movers, etc to help make your new house your home.

I am so blessed to be settled in my target neighborhood in this market and owe so much to my trust in Shannon Rose and Dan Sullivan to help me make this move and change my life.  Verified Kathie Gomes was both  professional and an enjoyable agent to work with in the purchase of my home in Capitola.  Although I have bought several homes in the past, I am a recent transplant from the midwest, and Kathie helped reduce the stress and anxiety the California market brought to the purchase.  She was very well networked, not only with the transactional players and home services, but with the very important personal aspects such as a veterinarian for my 110 pound dog.
